Ten-man Juventus Held at Cesena

Ten-man Juventus blew away a two-goal lead as they were held to a 2-2 draw at Cesena on Saturday.

Juve's January signing Alessandro Matri scored a brace in 16 minutes, the first one on a pass from Alessandro Del Piero in the 19th minute, the second one a header on a rebound after Del Piero hit the post in the 35th minute.

The Bianconeri nonetheless began to fall apart four minutes before the interval when Luis Jimenez finished from the spot after goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon had impeded Marco Parolo.

Worse followed when Marco Motta received a second yellow card moments later and, sensing their chance, Cesena ramped up the pressure after the break.

They finally levelled when Parolo finished from 10 meters out with ten minutes remaining, that goal lifting the hosts a point clear of the bottom three.
