Tremor Felt in China's Yunnan after Quake Hits Myanmar

Residents in southwest China's Yunnan Province reported tremors after a 7.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Myanmar, which borders Yunnan on the west and southwest.
Buildings shook for over a minute, reported some villagers in the Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan.
It is not yet known whether the earthquake has caused any causalities or damages in China.
An earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale jolted Myanmar at 9:55 p.m.(Beijing Time) Thursday, according to the China Earthquake Network Center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 20 km, was monitored at 20.8 degrees north latitude and 99.8 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
