PP: In the second half of Feb, with most plants restarting operating, downstream demand recovered gradually. But the overall PP prices changed little. On one hand, crude oil and propylene prices surged firmly, which supported PP market s feedstock costs. On the other hand, downstream demand was always recovering slowly, which restrained prices to rush up. Suppliers with wait-and-see sentiment were active to sell goods and offered stably, but transaction volumes remained limited.
PP fiber: PP staple fiber prices climbed up slightly with the support of rising PP powder prices. PP elastic yarn prices mainly kept stable as feedstock prices changed little.
