Abstract :
In Q2/2010, a total of 106 IPOs by Chinese enterprises took place on stock exchanges, roughly the same deal number as the previous quarter, and raked in a combined amount of USD 16.292 biillion, posting a 14.3% quarter-on-quarter decline, with the average financing amount standing at USD 154 million for each debutant, posting a 14.0% sequential drop. More specifically, domestic IPO markets saw 83 transactions securing a total amount of USD 13.995 billion, while overseas bourses hosted 23 debutants, which garnered USD 2.301 billion.
