Edwin modifies Nashville denim

Write: Ikey [2011-09-23]
In 1961 Mr. Tsunemi crafted the first pair of Edwin denim jeans in Japan. As part of the 50 year celebrations, Edwin have teamed up with Sivletto and Unionville to produce a modified version of the Nashville.
The usual two tone stitching has been replaced with a dark copper shade, which gives the pants a clean and authentic look based on a time in history when the production of denim was focussed on strength and durability and the simplicity of using only one type of thread in every machine.
To further focus on the collaboration the Edwin tab on the right pocket has been removed and the leather patch artwork has been modified to include the Unionville & Sivletto store names. This limited edition comes complete with a custom made tote bag.
Jofama x Edwin jacket will arrive in stores shortly . It's a nod to the pilots, the bikers, the obsession with Americana and the spirit of the rebellion.
Jofama have the jacket and Edwin have the vision - its a perfect marriage. Tweaks on linings, stitching, colours and fabrics have been made in the drive to produce a classic piece, the Airman and the Airwoman are born.
Aged buffalo hide sits atop blood red silk lining and vintage rivets and buttons and for those who want to get out of the plane and touch ground theres a removable fur collar. Its a romantic piece from a romantic time...
