SYFA announces Textiles ... Here and Now Conference

Write: Clovis [2011-09-17]
What is the current state of textiles in the United States? This is a question that many of us are wondering. With the ever changing world situation, politically, environmentally and economically, it is vital to know what is going on to successfully run our businesses.
Without a knowledgeable source of information, the status of our industry at any given moment is, at best, a guess.
The Synthetic Yarn and Fiber Association (SYFA) has put together a cross section of industry experts to address the state of Textiles ... Here and Now.
From various aspects of the supply chain to the current Washington situation, the line up of speakers will ensure a firm knowledge base to move your business forward during the coming year.
Keynote speakers include Dean Blanton Godfrey (School of Textiles, North Carolina State University) and Keith Crisco (Secretary of North Carolina Department of Commerce). Additional presentations will be delivered by Alasdair Carmichael (PCI Fibers), Craig Tutterow (TenCate), as well as Mike Hubbard (National Council of Textile Organizations), John Viera (Ford Motor Company), Matthew Foster and Paul Smart (CH Robinson Worldwide), Meredith Boyd (Unifi, Inc.), Jerry Cook (Hanesbrands) just to name a few.
From the raw materials to specialty garments; from research and education to sustainability, the Synthetic Yarn and Fiber Association Fall Conference has the information and the contacts you need. We look forward to seeing you at the Sheraton Airport in Charlotte, NC on November 16th and 17th.
