Sony said on Thursday it posted a net loss of 15.5 billion yen (191 million U.S. dollars) in the period from April to June following the March 11 quake and tsunami.
The Japanese electronics giant said in its financial results that sales had been affected by the March 11 earthquake, the deterioration of the electronics business environment and a strong yen.
Sony Corp. recorded a 25.7 billion yen profit in the same period of the previous year.
