Thanks in part to the revival of foreign demand, China's export volume and amount of car trade has taken on signs of restorative growth since the start of 2011, according to the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export Machinery and Electronic Products.
In the first five months this year, China exported nearly 300,000 cars of all kinds, include key modules and other components, amounting to 3.63 billion U.S. dollars, according to chamber of commerce statistics. The number exported and total trade volume saw year-on-year increases of 53.7 percent and 47.6 percent, respectively, both manifesting robust rebounds.
In terms of export product structure, heavy duty trucks took up a relatively large proportion with 115,700 exported in the first five month, generating 1.34 billion US dollars. Among passenger cars, small-sized sedan cars were the most exported, with 112,100 sold.
