S.Korea's Lotte opens outlet in Tianjin

Lotte Department Store, a unit of South Korea's second-largest retailer Lotte Shopping, said Thursday that it opened an outlet in Tianjin, China.
The Tianjin store is the company's second outlet in China following the launch of its first Chinese store in Beijing in August 2008, Lotte Department Store said in a statement.
Tianjin is one of the China's four major cities, including Beijing, Shanghai and Chongqing, and a strategically important market for the department store chain, according to the statement.
Lotte Department Store plans to launch another outlet in Tianjin by May next year, and will open store in Weihai, Shandong province in east China in the second half of next year and launch another outlet in Shenyang, the capital of northeast China's Liaoning province by 2013, the company said.
