La Textile brimming with new resources for F/W 2012-2013

The Los Angeles International Textile Show (LA TEXTILE) will debut an increased exhibitor showcase on October 10-12, 2011 for Fall/Winter 2012/2013.
Located at the California Market Center (CMC) since 1993, this edition of the show features a number of new exhibitors for textile, design & production resources, including an expanded European Collections Pavilion, as well as the return of the Lenzing Innovation Pavilion and the Korean Pavilion presented by KOTRA.
Additionally, attendees can expect complimentary, daily seminars by world-renowned trend forecasters and industry experts, an Opening Night Reception co-hosted by Lenzing and LA TEXTILE, and an interactive Trend Gallery co-curated by trend partner WGSN and LA TEXTILE.
New resources debuting this season include an expanded European Collections Pavilion in the CMC's Penthouse (13th floor) and will include Romi SRL, Studio Bert Forma, Hemmers, Studio Moda, Mapel, F.T.F., and DC Studio, representing Alma, Tuskania, Arche SRL, Pontetorto, Giotex, Cafissi, DG Textiles, Beneficio, Eurojersey SRL, Olimpia Tessile, Modus SRL, Cocci Stefano SRL, Monteoliveto SRL, Tessitura Panda SRL, F.A.N.S. Textile Factory SPA, Freetime, Springtex SAS, Tissage Du Casse Virtuose, Eurotextile Packaging, Posolis (TEBE) Industria de Malhas, Fiorima, InArbel, and Toki Seni Co. Ltd.
Numerous customers have asked us to participate at LA TEXTILE, says Caryn Rinaldini, of DC Studio, and we strongly feel that our fabrics from Italy, France, Portugal, Japan and other countries will inspire the audience of designers and manufacturers we know attend LA TEXTILE.
Debuting elsewhere on the Penthouse show floor this season are new exhibitors Aaryn West Surface Design Studio, Art Gallery Fabrics, Home Fabrics, Mandarin Enterprises, Wuijiang Shiyo Textile Mill, SLOWCOLOR, Surry Hill Trends LLC, and United Leather, to name a few.
Returning for a third edition of LA TEXTILE is the Lenzing Innovation Pavilion, presenting its network of Lenzing affiliated companies & products offering superior fiber innovations. Located in Penthouse showrooms and booths, the impressive exhibitor list includes Asher Fabric Concepts, Design Knit, Laguna, Enviro Fabrics, Sharatex, Texollini, Unitex, Zentex, Buhler Quality Yarns, G & G Multitex, American Fabrics International, Britannia Mills Ltd, Epic Textiles, Impex Textiles, Miroglio Textiles, Pacific Coast Knitting, and Sextet Fabrics.
Lenzing is very pleased to be hosting a third edition of the Lenzing Innovation Pavilion at the LA TEXTILE Show, says Susan Mocarski, Merchandiser at Lenzing. We once again anticipate a successful show as the market convenes to review new fabrications and resources with our global customers who represent the entire supply chain, designers, brands, and retailers.
Attendees are invited to an Opening Night Reception co-hosted by Lenzing and LA TEXTILE, featuring complimentary hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and live music from DJ Mahli. Open to attendees and exhibitors, the reception is scheduled from 5:00pm-7:00pm, Monday, October 10 in the LA TEXTILE Lounge located in the Penthouse.

The Korean Pavilion, presented by KOTRA, will be featured in the Fashion Theater, Main Lobby, and will showcase Korea s best textile mills and distributors. Additionally, KOTRA will be co-hosting a seminar with the U.S. Department of Commerce and the California Fashion Association, Wednesday, October 12. The seminar will consist of a panel discussion regarding New Opportunities: Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement. The seminar is scheduled from 3:30pm to 4:45pm, located in the Penthouse, Suite 19.
Attendees will also find new seminars presented by industry luminaries Mudpie Ltd. and Afingo, in addition to Stylesight, WGSN, Lenzing, Fashion Snoops, California Fashion Association (CFA), Fashion Business Inc. (FBI), Textile Insight, Design-Options, and Cotton, Inc. All seminars take place in the Penthouse, Suite 19.
A Trend Gallery co-curated by LA TEXTILE and trend partner WGSN will be featured in the Main Lobby of the CMC, highlighting the three major trends for the Fall/Winter 2012/2013 season: Eco-Hedonism, Radical Neutrality, and Hyperculture.
The Fall/Winter 2012/2013 edition of LA TEXTILE Show will take place Monday-Wednesday October 10-12, 2011 at the California Market Center.
Show hours are 10:00am-6:00pm on Monday and Tuesday, and 10:00am-5:00pm on Wednesday.
