Introduce
On May 15, 1981, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party approved Song QingLing as the Party member of the Communist Party of China. On May 16, the fifth 18th session of Standing Committee of the National People s Congress of Chinese determines to award honorary chairman of the People s Republic of China Song QingLing s honorary title.
On May 29, 1981, Song QingLing failed to respond to any medical treatment because of leukemia, passed away in Beijing, died at the age of 90 years old. According to her testament before death, her ash is buried in the east of the graveyard of her parents of the cemetery of the Wan s of Shanghai, namely Song celebrate age cemetery park today.
