The two figures seized by the customs were confirmed by the South China Detecting Center of Wildlife as modern ivory products on November 27, 2009, said customs officers of Gongbei Customs District. The two figures which weigh 2.3 kilograms were detected in the luggage of an outward American passenger at Jiuzhou Port on November 5.
