The 10th International Symposium on Quantum Reaction Scattering Opened in Dalian

The symposium was sponsored by the State Key Laboratory of Molecular Dynamics of DICP, and was held from 6th to 10th of June in Dalian.

The first International Symposium on Quantum Reaction Scattering was convened in 1990, it was then held every two years, and has a history of 19 years up to now. Its objective was mainly on the theoretical research of quantum reaction kinetics, and the main involvements were new theories and methodologies in quantum reaction kinetics studies, as well as new progresses in theoretical research of polyatomic molecules, non-adiabetic reactions and potential surfaces. The 10th Symposium was the first one being held outside the regions of America and Europe.

The 10th Symposium was co-chaired by Prof. ZHANG Donghui and Prof. HAN Keli of DICP. More than 80 participants attended the symposium, among them were about 30 prominent theoretical chemistry scholars from abroad. A total of 25 invited presentations and 28 posters were conducted during the symposium.
