On the Children s Day, Jinan Municipal Disabled Federation visited 357 disabled children from 4 rehabilitation and salvage institutes for the poverty-stricken disabled including Children s Rehabilitation Center for Brain Paralysis. They sent the gifts worth of 35,700 yuan to help them spend a happy festival as happy as that of healthy children. Recently, Jinan has developed the rehabilitation and salvage project for poverty-stricken disabled children and strived for project funds of over 2.2 million yuan from provincial and city finance. They conducted rehabilitation training to 1,500 poverty-stricken disabled children among them 569 suffered from brain paralysis, 650 mental handicapped children, 222 autistic children and 150 with low vision. They trained 1,381 parents as well, which won good effects.
