| The 1st Anhui Folk Culture Festival, jointly organized by the provincial Department of Culture and the Municipal Government of Tongling, opened in Jiangnan Culture Park in Tongling city, Anhui province on May 7th. Sang Guowei, vice chairman of NPC standing committee and Wang Jinshan, secretary of provincial CPC committee of Anhui delared the opening of the 1st Anhui Folk Culture Festival. Many other national and provincial leaders also presented the opening ceremony. Under the theme of Cherish Folk, Gather in Tongling , the festival consists of 4 parts and over 100 activities such as folk performance, local opera show, traditional artistic handcraft presentation and folk culture introduction. |
