Four Scenery Spots in Lishui Selected as Provincial Scenery Spots of Intangible Cultural Heritage

Days ago, Zhejiang Provincial Culture Department and Zhejiang Provincial Tourism Administration announced the first group of Zhejiang classic scenery spots and tourist areas of intangible cultural heritage. Window of She Ethnic Cultur---a scenic spot in Jinning county and Garden of Celadon Culture in Longquan were selected in the first group of the provincial classic scenic spots of intangible cultural heritage. Stone-sculpture Exhibition Zone in Qingtian County and Xiandu Scenic Spot in Jinyun County (Xuanyuan Sacrificial Ceremony) were selected as Zhejiang tourist spots of intangible cultural heritage.
Window of She Ethnic Culture lies in Dajun town in Jinning She Ethnic Autonomous county. The scenic spot is a theme park to exhibit the customs of She people and her protection of the intangible culture heritage. It is a national AAAA scenic spot.
Garden of Celadon Culture in Longquan covers a land of fifteen Mu. It consists of teaching center of traditional celadon skills, museums of masterpieces, hand-made mills, Piyun club, hotels and entertainment center. It is a comprehensive resort for celadon creation, leisure tour and cultural entertainment.
Qingtian Stone-sculpture Exhibition Zone is comprised of Museums of Stone Sculptures, Town of China Stone Sculpture and Stone Culture Park of Thousand-Layer Rocks. The second phase of the project are still under way, which includes such projects as Mine Stones Park, Exhibition Museums of Masterpieces and Stone Market for Stone Sculpture. China Stone-sculpture Culture Tourism Zone exhibits the history, heritage and development of Qingtian stone sculpture. It displays the whole process from selceting stones to sculpture works of Qingtian stone carving.
Xiandu Scenic Spot in Jinyun (Xuanyuan Sacrificial Ceremony) is the first group of the national AAAA scenic spots. Besides picturesque natural sceneries in Xiandu, it is also embodied with rich historic sites and excellent intangible culture heritage. Huangdi Emperor Culture is deeply rooted in the local culture. Sacrificial ceremonies for Huangdi Emperor would be held every Qingming festival and Chongyang Festival. Xuanyuan Sacrificial Ceremony was enlisted in Zhejiang Second Group Protection List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2007 by Zhejiang people's government. In 2008, Xiandu Xuanyuan Sacrificial Ceremony was recognized as Zhejiang First Group Protection Bases of Folk Culture Festivals. Xuanyuan Emperor Museum displayed a full picture of his living age and living activities. It also exhibits the forming process of Chinese ancestors. It is an importance place for Chinese descendents to find their roots and forefathers.
