Japanese Students from Mishima Paid Friendly Exchange Visit to Huayuan Junior High School

A delegation of 8 high school students coming from Mishima, Japan on a friendly exchange tour paid a visit to Huayuan Junior High School, Liandu district the other day.

Mishima is a sister city of Lishui. The friendly exchange visits in both directions by high school students of Mishima and Huayan Junior High School were started in 2004, and this was Mishima students 6th visit to Huayuan. In the previous years, Huayuan Junior High School used to send students on exchange tours to Mishima four times.

During their stay in Huayuan Junior High School, the eight Japanese students were involved in a variety of activities of Huanyuan students: they experienced the learning atmosphere of Chinese students in person by joining Huanyuan students in lessons of curricula like English, fine arts, music, PE and others; they went on an excursion into nature, made Jiaozi, flew kites, visited Lishui Urban Planning Exhibition Center, went on a sightseeing trip to Ancient Weir-Town of Landscape Paintings together with students of Huayuan and savored the local folk custom; and they had a thorough taste of Chinese family life through the very close contact realized by one-to-one home-stay in the families of their Chinese counterparts.
