Anti-terror drill staged ahead of Asian Games

Special policemen take part in an anti-terror drill in Dongguan, south China, Sept. 17, 2010, as a part of preparation for the 16th Asian Games which will kick off in December.

As a co-host city for the 16th Asian Games in December, Dongguan on September 17 staged a ever biggest anti-terrorism drill involving 2000 members of police and military forces.

Eight athletes pretended to be held hostage by terrorists on a bus in the city. Armed police, firefighters and ambulances quickly arrive at the scene. After a breakdown in negotiations, armed police break into the bus and overwhelm all the terrorists, rescuing all the hostages.
