The Guangzhou Asian Games torch relay toured Dongguan on Sunday morning.
The relay started at 8:30 am at Marine War Museum in Humen Township of Dongguan. After a few stops at some famous scenic spots like Weiyuan Barbette Field and Humen Bridge, the torch arrived in Dongguan's downtown area at 9:50 am. The torch went on its relay in Dongguan downtown under the protection of Dongguan police who were deployed along the road sides, and ended at Dongguan Central Square at 11:10 am. A continuing program of traffic control measures was implemented to improve traffic flows from 9:00 am to 12:00 am for the roads where the torch passed by.
