The cold front from the north will bring the temperature in Dongguan to as low as 5-6 degrees centigrade from Friday (Dec.31) to January 2, said the city's Meteorological Bureau forecast on Thursday.
From January 3, the temperature is expected to rise gradually as the cold front will move eastward. The weather will featured by sunny, cold, dry and no rainfalls in the city during the New Year Holidays.
The Meteorological Bureau also reminded residents to be aware of the temperature change, keep warm and pay attention to household fire safety due to the dry weather.
