On October 18th, 2010, Frederick Guerin, Vice Dean of the 3IS International Audio-Visual Institute of France and Director of Research and Development Department visited School of Television and Film Art of CUC. Vice Dean of School of Television and Film Art Bi Genhui, Vice Dean Zhou Yong met the visitors. The two sides introduced their history and present condition to each other, and deeply discussed the feasibility of possible cooperative projects concerning student exchange and summer school, hoping to find the conjunction point to start exchanges and cooperation as soon as possible. After the meeting, the visitors visited the practice and experiment places and achievements exhibition room of School of Television and Film Art.
People accompanied with Vice Dean Guerin were Mr. Kang Wen, International Project Director of China Education Association for International Exchange; Liu Chang, Vice Dean of Media Research Institute of CUC; Tang Peilin, School of Television and Film Art and so on attended the meeting.
The 3IS International Audio-Visual Institute is a private institute of higher education. It was founded in the late 80s of last century, is the youngest and quite dynamic institute with majors in Film Academies and Multimedia Academies in Europe. It is also the first French institute accepted by CILECT(Centre International de Liaison des Ecoles de Cin ma et de T l vision). The institute is located near Paris. It has the most advanced teaching facilities and equipment, and pays great attention to fully tapping the potentials of the students and train them to become the best media professionals.
