On 29 December, CAS President LU Yongxiang paid home visits to extend New Year greetings to veteran CAS scientists in Beijing. At the residences of Profs. ZHENG Minzhe, YE Duzheng, LIU Guangding and WANG Shouguan, all being Senior Members of CAS, Prof. Lu, who is also vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, held intimate talks with them on issues concerning talent training, science development and innovation.
