President Zhang Wendong Has a Talk with Graduates Freshmen Representatives

On the afternoon of September 21, 2009, Zhang Wendong, President of NUC, Liu Youzhi, Vice-President of NUC, have a talk with the graduates freshmen representatives at the 7th Meeting Room.

At the meeting, President Zhang Wendong hears the students life and study experiences as well as their opinions and suggestions on the school s work and plans. He hopes that the students can adopt themselves to the campus life and study as soon as possible and establish ambitious goals while be down to earth so as to be an outstanding NUC student.

At the meeting, vice-president Xiao Zhongliang firstly proposes question with what attitudes university students should have for their college life and then he starts his report with Plato s quote human beings is the creature with reason . And then Vice-president Xiao Zhongliang indicates that university students should mainly focus their learning on three aspects, knowledge, abilities and the overall qualities.

Han Yan gives an introduction to the subjects of the department and then he gives a report on the relationship about to be a noble person and to be a talent. And finally he answers the questions the students put forwards with patience.
