From October 25th to 27th, a six-man delegation from Keuka College, USA, led by Dr. Melissa Brown, the chairman of the board, and Dr. Joseph Burke, the president of Keuka College, visited YUFE.

On October 26th, Pro. Wang Libing, entrusted by President Wang Rong, had a meeting with the delegation. First, he sent Pro. Wang's regards to Dr. Melissa Brown and all other delegates and expressed warm welcome to them. He recalled the past experiences of the cooperation between the two universities. He mentioned that the cooperation between the two had achieved great success and received much attention and affirmation from various academic circles through the concerted efforts of both universities during the past decades. In spite of various difficulties, he pointed out that the joint program kept developing in a sound way owing to the broad vision of the leaders of both sides. Dr. Melissa Brown, in return, extended her gratitude for the sincere hospitality received. She said that through her conversations with students during the few days' visit, she felt personally the great success achieved in giving benefit to both universities' students. As the new chairman of the board of Keuka College, she was ready to give full support to the cooperation between the two universities. At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides compared their notes about the quota of students.

Relevant leaders from the International Cooperation and Exchange Office and the School of International Business also attended the meeting.

During the three days' visit, the delegation also held a seminar with the students involved in the joint program and enjoyed activities such as the Keuka Evening hosted by the School of International Business.
