The First International Chongqing Orthopaedics Forum & the 2nd Chongqing Orthopaedics Forum for Academician of CAE Was Successfully Held

The First International Chongqing Orthopaedics Forum & the 2nd Chongqing Orthopaedics Forum for Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) was successfully held in Chongqing, March 27-29, 2009. Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University hosted the forum.

The forum brought together the leading international scientists in orthopaedic surgery in China and abroad, including 5 academicians from CAE and the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, USA. More than one thousand orthopaedic surgeons and researchers from all over the world attended the forum, where they had maximum interaction and interchanges regarding the rapid progress in traumatics, spinal disorders and joint disease fields through lectures and open discussion.
