Prof. Paul Arbon, Dean of Nursing and Midwifery School of Flinders University, Australia and Dr. Xiao Lily, nursing researcher at Flinders, visited Nursing School of CQMU on 8 April, 2009. Yang Hong, Director of Foreign Affairs Office of CQMU, Ruan Lili and Zhou Jianrong, Vice Deans of Nursing School received the guests warmly.

In the morning, the guests visited Jinyun campus and Jinshan International Hospital affiliated to our First Affiliated Hospital and attended a simulation nursing lecture. They spoke highly of our situational teaching and tentative care for patients. They also communicated with our nursing students about the difference in nursing education between China and Australia.

The two parties had a meeting in the afternoon, where they talked about the cooperation in nursing education and student exchanges, and initially agreed on the joint 2+2 nursing program for undergraduates.
