Work by student from College of Art and Design selected by the 5th Zhejiang Lu Weizhao Award Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Exhibition of Young and Middle-Aged People

The result of the 5^thZhejiang Lu Weizhao Award Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Exhibition of Young and Middle-Aged People was announced recently. The calligraphy work by Chen Yuhui grade 08 fine arts major of College of Art and Design was successfully selected.

Lu Weizhao is the pioneer of modern Chinese higher education calligraphy. On the occasion of his 110 birthday anniversary, Zhejiang Provincial Calligraphers Association, along with the Publicity Department of the Hangzhou Municipal Committee, Hangzhou Culture Union and the Culture Bureau of Hangzhou Municipal Government, holds the exhibition. After the careful selection of 20 experts from Zhejiang Provincial Calligraphers Association, 369 pieces from over 2300 works province-wide were chosen.

It is reported that if their works are accepted into the exhibition, the non-members can have the membership of Zhejiang Provincial Calligraphers Association.
