On December 21st, the 2nd Lloyd's Register Scholarship Award Ceremony was held in SMU Minsheng Campus. Prof. Huang Youfang, Vice President of SMU and Mr. Bartlett, Representative of Education Foundation of Lloyd's Register in China.

Lloyd's Register is the first organization which offers scholarships for postgraduates and this year three Marine Engineering postgraduates won the scholarships.

On the Award Ceremony, Prof. Huang Youfang expressed his appreciation that Lloyd's Register plays a leading role in supporting postgraduate study and education. He also congratulated the winners and encouraged them to study harder for academic research to protect life and properties on sea. Mr. Bartlett made an introduction about the Lloyd's Register and its Education Foundation. Then he congratulated on the winners and hoped that they could keep up the good work to make due contribution to marine safety.
