On April 20th, Prof. Wayne K. Talley from Old Dominion University was invited as SMU Honorary Professor. Prof. Jin Yongxing, Vice President of SMU granted Letter of Appointment to Prof. Wayne K. Talley and they held cordial talks. Ms. Yu Hongrong, Director of Foreign Affairs Office as well as Prof. Shao Jungang and Prof. Shou Jianmin from SMU Research Institute for Science of Water Transport Economy attended the appointment ceremony.

Prof. Wayne K Talley would launch international exchange and cooperation in the field of Logistics. Prof. Wayne K. Talley is a renowned professor of Business and Public Administration College of Old Dominion University, Director of International Shipping, Port and Logistics Administration Research Office and the Chief Editor of an international journal named Transportation Research E: Logistics and Transportation Review. He is a specially invited researcher of many significant research organizations as well.
