On September 20, Mr. Tony Fritsche, CEO of Australian Mint Group, Ms. Sharon Wang, Regional Director of Finance, Mint Group and Capt. Bao Rensong, Managing Director of China Maritime Service Center (Shanghai) visited SMU. SMU Vice President Jin Yongxing and heads of relevant department in the university met with the guests.

Prof. Jin Yongxing extended a warm welcome to Mr. Tony Fritsche for his second visit to SMU. He was convinced that the professional trainings provided by Mint Group play an important role in improving students vocational skills and helping them to adapt to the working environment quickly. Mr. Tony Fritsche introduced the goals and market orientations of Mint Group. He also detailed Mint Group s professional training programs currently running in China. Later on, both sides reached a preliminary intent on conducting joint training program.

Mint Group is a professional service organization approved by Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) engaged in the training, personnel, consulting and recruitment. For over ten years, it continues to work closely with Hilton, Westin and a number of the world's top five-star hotels. In April of this year, Mr. Michael Arthur, President of Mint Group visited SMU for the first time.
