2011 Spring Semester for International Students Opens

Opening Ceremony of 2011 SMU Spring Semester for International Students was held in SMU International Conference Center. Overseas students including Chinese language learners from 34 countries, heads of SMU Chinese Studies Center attended the ceremony.

On behalf of SMU, Ms. Song Ying from the Chinese Studies Center expressed her warm welcome and sincere greeting to all the students from afar. She introduced the teaching schedule in the new semester to come and displayed high expectation that all students would spare no efforts to study and have an in-depth understanding of Chinese culture.

Four international students' representatives from Sweden, South Korea, Indonesia and Netherlands spoke on their experiences in learning Chinese and the culture.
