Tianjin University Students Leadership Training Program launched

Tianjin University Students Leadership Training Program was launched among Communist Youth League members last week. The program aims to cultivate qualified professional knowledge and prominent leadership in the students for the demand of society. It will proceed at two levels as university demonstration and school promotion.

At the university level, the Tianjin University Tailei Class (named after ZHANG Tailei, a Chinese Revolution Leader and alumnus of Peiyang University old name of TU), composed of 30 excellent students, was set up. The Opening Ceremony of the Class was held last week, where YU Lijun, Vice-Chairman of Tianjin University Council, delivered a welcome speech to the students.

The content of the one-year class includes theory teaching, quality development training, social research and practice, and so on.
