AirAsia X enters Japan

AirAsia X marked its inaugural flight to Japan earlier this week. The Malaysian carrier launched the thrice-weekly service to Haneda International Airport, with a 95% passenger load.
Dato Kamarudin Meranun, chairman, AirAsia X, was quoted as having said that Japan was a crucial step in the airline s plan to become a major player on the Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) platform, as reported by eTravel Blackboard.
