India: Triumph to expand its presence in India

Triumph International, World's leading lingerie brand intends to open 12 more flagship outlets and 30 additional Exclusive Partner Stores (EPS) in India at an investment of Rs. 10 billion, this year, informed Mr. Thorsten Allentien, Managing Director of the company.
For each flagship store and every EPS, the company will invest around Rs.240 million and Rs.300 million respectively. At present, the company has eight flagship stores and 20 EPS in all major Tier-I and II cities of the country, as well as has more than 600 points of sales nationwide.
Aiming to tap vast opportunity in the Indian lingerie industry and make the Indian women to experience the difference with company’s innovative range of products, the 124-year-old German lingerie-maker is expanding its retail network in the country.
Only 4 percent of the Indian lingerie industry is organized, while over 1,000 entrepreneurs are in unorganized sector. The company enjoys 40 percent market share in the organized lingerie sector, he added by saying.
