On July 15, CGGC entered into the Sawani Serea Highway EPC contract with Fijian government. The contract has a value totaling RMB 328 million and the construction was scheduled to complete in 36 months.
Sawani Serea Highway is located in Naitasiri, Fiji. The project mainly involves upgrading a 19-kilometer earth-and-broken-stone road into a 7.3-meter-wide controlled-access asphalt road which will allow a driving speed of 60km/h.
As an important part of Fijian government s transport strategy, Sawani Serea Highway will promote the country s transport efficiency, boost economic development, provide more jobs and reduce poverty.
