On 29 July 2009, CNR got a contract of supplying hundreds of metro cars for Beijing Line 9, 10 and Yizhuang Line. On 20 July 2009, another bid was awarded for Line 15 of Beijing. The total amount of above contracts is over 4 billion RMB Yuan. They will be delivered in 2010.
Up to now, CNR has delivered 1,683 mass transit vehicles for Beijing subway including Line 1, 2, Fuxingmen Bawangfen, Line 5, 9, 10 and Capital Airport Line.
On 1 Sept 2009, a metro car with type B stainless steel-bodied rolls out in CNR Changchun. This is the first one of 144 metro cars for Line 3 of Shenzhen.
