Bank of China s aviation financial service expanding globally

14th September, 2009, the celebration for the 15th "World Routes Development Forum" was held at the People s Great Hall in Beijing.

Bank of China is the key partner of the Forum and has long history of cooperation with China s civil aviation industry. Along with the development of China s aviation industry, Bank of China s aviation financial services have been further developed. From the aircraft leasing guarantees services in early days to aircraft financing, aircraft leasing, insurance, import of aviation-related materials, jet fuel settlement, financing of airport construction and operating services to participating in the financing of Beijing Capital International Airport s Terminal Three, Bank of China not only cemented its leading role in aviation financial services sector in China but also created and developed all industry chain services including aviation transport related services and all aspects of aviation financial services.

From domestic aviation financial services to developing overseas customers, Bank of China s aviation financial services has been expanding globally with the support of all industry chain services and the business advantage of being available both at home and abroad. After Bank of China s successful acquisition of Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise (now rebranded as BOC Aviation ), Bank of China became the only financial institution in China with a set of financial services including global aircraft financing, aircraft leasing, insurance and related investment banking business.

Bank of China has the most experience in civil aviation business among the commercial banks in China.

World Routes Development Forum is a community of nearly 500 major airlines, 700 airports and related aviation consulting firms, information technology service providers, equipment and facilities providers, tourism organizations from more than 100 countries. It is a summit for the global aviation industry. This is the first time the Forum is held in Beijing and reflects China s growing role in the world s civil aviation industry.
