Bank of China's Eight-Year Support for CIEET

The 16th China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET 2011), organized by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE), Ministry of Education, opened in its first station, Beijing, the other day. As the only commercial bank in China that has signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with CSCSE, Bank of China has participated fully in the annual grand event on international educational exchange for the 8th consecutive year, introducing to overseas students and the public its one-stop financial services for study abroad.

Apart from Beijing, the exhibition will also be held in six other cities Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Xi'an, Dalian and Wuhan. It is expected that more than 400 universities and educational institutions from over 30 countries and regions will participate in the exhibition. Recognized by CSCSE, the participants are institutions which are either approved by the educational authority of their countries or certified by an agency authorized by local government and are qualified to enroll students from other countries, including universities, vocational schools, secondary schools and training institutions.

Bank of China was among the first banks in China to launch financial services for people pursuing studies abroad. It has started to make more efforts in developing channels of such services and upgrading relevant products since 2009. Currently, it has more than 200 centers offering such financial services across China.

The experienced experts it has and the quality products and services it offers are bound to meet the diversified needs of overseas students for cross-border financial services. It also has over 700 outlets in Hong Kong, Macao and 31 foreign countries that offer overseas students excellent and standard financial services.
