ICBC Makes Steady Progress in E-Banking Specification Improvement Project

In order to develop the E-banking as an "excellent" service and to improve the customer's experience, ICBC has recently carried out a complete optimization of the Personal Internet Banking Service in page layout, menu navigation, trading procedures, information display, help and search, certificate installation, internal procedures and other aspects.

The upgraded version of Personal Internet Banking Service has, reportedly, the following new features: First, the "Notice Information" of the personal trading page has been optimized in that customers can choose whether or not to see the notice; Second, the calendar control has been utilized for all date input for the customer's convenience of selecting with a mouse; Third, more relevant information and links have been provided for services like "My account", "Transfer and Remittance", "Fixed Deposit", "Call Deposit", so as to better assist customers in operation; Fourth, the function of "Customer Service" has been integrated by adding "Personalized Settings" into the page for more convenient customization; and finally the "Security Center" has been separated as a single column, which contains "Change Password" and "Certificate Download", to provide complete security services.

A person in charge at the relevant department of ICBC says that the improvement project of the Personal Internet Banking Service, an important part of ICBC's Specification Improvement Project of E-banking, has made significant progress. Next, ICBC will carry on the project in Corporate Internet Banking, Telephone Banking, and Mobile Banking (WAP). By such means, ICBC will continue to improve the customer's experience in E-banking products, so as to strengthen their competitive advantage in the market.
