As the curtain fell on the 17th China International Financial Services Exhibition and China International Exhibition on Financial Banking Technology & Equipment in Beijing lately, ICBC stood out in "Large Financial Technology and Services Review" held during the exhibition by snapping two Awards of China International Financial Exhibition (2009). ICBC Personal Internet Banking " Banking@Home" and 95588 Telephone Banking are respectively the winners of "Distinguished Financial Product Award" and "Distinguished Financial Brand Award."
China International Financial Exhibition organized by People's Bank of China, is a premier event in Asia Pacific and the most influential and the largest exhibition in the field. Nearly 40 financial institutions in China representing financial regulatory departments, commercial banks, stock exchanges, insurance companies coalesced around the theme "The Achievement, The Confidence, Serve the Economy, Benefit the People".
ICBC as one of the exhibitors set up a special corner for visitors to experience E-banking with self-service machines especially for internet banking and telephone banking.
Insiders believe that the two awards given to ICBC is an indication that ICBC draws acclaim and recognition from financial regulatory organizations, users and media, who all honor the bank's achievement in the impressive growth of its E-banking.
