Few days ago, at the ICBC outlet in Guangzhou Asian Games Town's Main Media Center, an overseas customer called PANDEY came to seek help from the outlet manager Xue Ying to buy five sets of coins. PANDEY is a sports journalist of an Indian TV station. Every time he goes to a different country and after covering the sporting events, he usually buys the coins of the country for his children as gifts. Coming to Guangzhou Asian Games is PANDEY's first trip to China.
"You are really a good father!"Xue Ying totally appreciated PANDEY's deepest care and love to his children and immediately asked PANDEY to leave his phone number. Xue Ying promised to collect all the coins for PANDEY in two days. However, the small-denomination coins are getting scarce during the circulation.
On that day only coins of 1 fen and five fen left in the outlet. To collect the coins in all denomination in such a short period was not easy. Yet Xue Ying did not want to let PENDEY feel disappointed. So she made use of the short resting time after work and went back home in downtown Guangzhou and rummaged among the drawers.
She even tried the auto-vending machine in the metro station and went round many small shops and finally managed to collect five sets of coins in 6 denominations (1 fen, 2 fen, 5 fen, 1 jiao, 5 jiao, 1 yuan) .
When Xue Ying delivered the coins to Mr. PANDEY, his face was filled with surprise and joy and said the "thank you"repeatly to Xue Ying. Mr. PANDEY was totally satisfied with ICBC services. To show his appreciation, Mr. PANDEY taught the ICBC staffs in the outlet to say "DHANYAVAAD"(Thank you) and "SWAGATAM"(Welcome) in Indian. He also extended his warmest invitation to ICBC staffs to come to India.
