China Electronic Commerce Association in collaboration with China Electronic Finance Industrial Alliance hosted the Fourth Annual Conference on China's E-Finance Development & Third Annual China E-Finance "Golden Cup Awards" on November 26, 2010. ICBC won the Award for "2010 Best SME Financial Service" for its revolving loan service (Online Loan Link) to small enterprises.
Guests invited to the award ceremony were senior officials and experts from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Commerce, People's Bank of China, China Banking Regulatory Commission, China Securities Regulatory Commission, China Insurance Regulatory Commission and financial peers.
ICBC was the only financial institution to claim the top title judging by the opinions from panel of judges and public poll conducted by the organizing committee. The award is another honor conferred to ICBC's "Online Loan Link" subsequent to the "2010 Excellent SME Service Product Award" from China Association of Small & Medium Enterprises in October.
Winning the award bears testimony to ICBC's excellence in offering financial services to small businesses.
As a long-term development strategy, for the past few years ICBC has been dedicated to serving the small businesses and supporting their growth. To a large-scale commercial bank as ICBC, not only is this a part of the social responsibility effort to help drive the economy and society development and stimulate job creation, but a key tactic for ICBC to achieve balanced structure of loan portfolio, nurture new growth pole and realize sustainable development.
