ICBC is China's Most Valuable Financial Brand in 2010

Recently, Millward Brown Optimor, a global respected brand research and consultancy firm, announced the list of "2010 Most Valuable Chinese Brand TOP 50" in Beijing for the first time. ICBC is the second most valuable Chinese brand and ranked No. 1 in the financial sector of the ranking, proving again the most valuable brand among the Chinese banks.

"BrandZ Most Valuable Chinese Brands TOP 50" is currently the first valuation in China that combines financial data with consumer opinions on brands and represents this as a dollar value. The ranking spans 19 different categories, reflecting the diversity of leading brands in the Chinese economy.

UK-headquartered Optimor is Millward Brown's consultancy organization mainly for global brand strategy and marketing strategy under the global communication services group WPP. Millward Brown Optimor published its "Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands" every year since 2006 on Financial Times (UK). The ranking is one of the most respected global brand rankings. In the 2010 Optimor's "Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands", ICBC was again the world s most valuable brand among the financial firms.
