On June 30, a 6 Mt/a diesel hydrogenation complex unit were put into operation at Dalian Petrochemical Company. Construction of this complex unit was launched in late 2006 and completed in March 2008. Through hydrofining, this unit can reduce sulfur content in straight-run and catalytic cracking diesel components from over 10,000 PPM to less than 50 PPM, lower than Europe IV standard. With the 6 Mt/a diesel hydrogenation complex unit going into service, Dalian Petrochemical will significantly enhance its productivity of clean diesel that meet international standard, and build itself the largest clean diesel producer in China. |
