Wang Dongjin pays a courtesy call on Chad's President Idriss Deby

Write: Cadogan [2011-05-20]
On March 9, CNPC Vice President Wang Dongjin paid a courtesy call on Mr. Idriss Deby, the President of the Republic of Chad at the Presidential Palace of Chad. The two sides had friendly talks on Sino-Chadian oil cooperation and reached a consensus on further expanding the cooperation.
CNPC's cooperation projects in Chad are well underway at present. New breakthroughs in oil and gas exploration have been obtained successively, thanks to our increasingly heavier investment in the past three years. An integrated upstream and downstream project including 1Mt/a production capacity, crude pipelines and the N'Djamena Refinery will be completed at the end of June, 2011.
President Deby highly appreciated the cooperation between Chad and CNPC. He promised that Chad will give full support to CNPC in terms of new joint blocks, crude oil pipeline construction and transit transportation.
During his visit in Chad, Wang Dongjin also called on Chad's oil minister Mahamat Hassan Nasser and the president of Societe des Hydrocarbures du Tchad SHT , and went to Bongor field and the construction site of N'Djamena Refinery to see CNPC staff.
