Framework agreement signed between CNPC and CNAF on aviation kerosene supply

On February 17, CNPC and China National Aviation Fuel Group Corporation (CNAF) signed an annual framework agreement on supplying aviation kerosene in Beijing.
CNPC Vice President Zhou Jiping, who is also President of PetroChina, and CNAF President Sun Li delivered speeches at the signing ceremony respectively. PetroChina Vice President Liu Hongbin and President of CNAF Corporation Ltd. Zhou Rucheng signed the document on behalf of the two parties.
CNAF is a large state-owned air transportation logistics service provider in China, providing jet fuel procurement, storage, sales and refueling services. It supplies jet fuel to160 airports in China and 180 airline companies around the world. In China, CNAF owns wharfs, tank farms, pipelines, and fuel feeding facilities for airport. Besides providing domestic aviation kerosene for CNAF, CNPC is also its import agency and supplier of aviation kerosene from abroad.
Both as state-owned enterprise directly under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), CNPC and CNAF have long maintained a good cooperation relationship. During the 12th Five-Year Plan period, CNCP will take advantage of its newly built refineries to boost production capacity in southwest, south and east China, and increase the total output of aviation kerosene so as to raise its share in civil aviation market. The signing of the annual aviation kerosene supply framework agreement will help the two parties give full play of their respective advantages in market and resource, expand future cooperation field and enhance comprehensive strength.
