Employees in the financial and insurance industry earn the highest payment in China, Xinhuanet.com reported Friday, citing a survey from zhaopin.com, an online human resource agency.
The average pay for people in the financial and insurance industry stood at 97,000 yuan per year. Payment for people in real estate and construction industries was the second highest, and IT, electronics and Internet industries the third.
The survey results were from statistical analysis of data from 5,866 companies.
From 2006 to 2008, the average payment level in China rose 8.6 percent, 9.7 percent and 13.8 percent year-on-year, respectively, according to zhaopin.com.
