China's GDP grew 10.6 percent year-on-year in the first nine months of this year to 26.87 trillion yuan ($4.04 trillion), the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said Thursday.
The growth was 2.5 percentage points higher compared with the same period last year.
China's economy increased 9.6 percent year-on-year in the third quarter, lower than the 11.9-percent growth in the first and 10.3-percent growth in the second.
