Chinese shares extended their losses at their openings Tuesday as fears of further tightening and debt woes in Europe weighed on market sentiment.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Inde fell 1.18 percent, or 33.42 points, to open at 2,794.86.
The Shenzhen Component Index weakened 0.52 percent, or 62.63 points, to open at 11,999.78.
