Jinan Working Conference on Disease Prevention and Control Was Held

On March 17, Jinan working conference on disease prevention and control was held in Public Health Hotel. The conference summarized the disease prevention and control work, analyzed the current situation of disease control in Jinan, arranged working task of 2010, and rewarded advanced collective and individuals who performed well in disease prevention and control.

Zong Ling, chairman of Disease Control Department of Provincial Health Bureau, Ma Jiren, deputy director of Municipal Health Bureau, Ouyang Guiting, head of Jinan Office of Patriotic Sanitation, and Zhang Jiyong, deputy director of Jinan Municipal Bureau of Public Health presented at the conference.

In 2010, the prevention and control of disease is facing severely challenges and rare development opportunity. Through this conference, the members of the conference have got a deeper understanding of the main problems existing in the development of disease control. The conference further clarified the main working task, objective and requirements in 2010, which will certainly lay good foundation for disease prevention and control in this year.
